Join instructor Kathy on this photo walkabout in the Boston Public Garden work with them to get great shots of flowers, the garden grounds, the famous Swan boats, fountains and the beautiful landscape. During this time of year, the gardens are bursting at the seams with glorious color that will keep everyone busy. We will discuss macro photography and how to get the most clarity, light and sharpness using tripods and reflectors.
The gardens are also a fabulous backdrop for portraits, and we will have a demonstration of how to get the best portrait using the best camera settings for depth of field, using natural and reflected light and even working with a flash so you can see the variations and options you have.
The class will be limited to 9 students keeping the instructor to student ratio low so make sure you get on board early. Bring your questions!
As in all classes topics may include: aperture, shutter speed, proper exposure, exposure compensation, focus, metering, point of view, composition, light.
